This approach aims to improve food security and livelihoods by empowering farmers and strengthening local food systems

Food Security: Resettled communities often face food insecurity due to displacement and disruption of traditional livelihoods. Providing access to agricultural inputs and tools helps them cultivate food and become self-sufficient.

Livelihoods: Agriculture is a primary source of income and sustenance for many African communities. Strengthening agricultural resilience helps improve livelihoods and reduces dependence on external aid.

Climate Change Adaptation: Climate change poses significant challenges to agriculture in Africa. Providing climate-resilient seeds and promoting sustainable farming practices helps communities adapt to changing conditions.

Resilience Building: By empowering farmers with the resources they need, these interventions contribute to building long-term resilience in the face of shocks and stresses, such as droughts, floods, and conflicts.
