Our Objectives

International Islamic Youth League IIYL core objectives revolve around alleviating poverty and social injustice, promoting human dignity, and empowering vulnerable communities. Our focus on long-term development programs, emergency relief, and policy advocacy to address the root causes of poverty, with a particular emphasis on women and girls.

  1. Provide educational facilities in Africa involves constructing schools and distributing learning materials, alongside addressing broader issues like infrastructure and teacher training. This multifaceted approach aims to improve access to quality education, especially in rural areas, and enhance learning outcomes.
  2. Provides access to clean water and sanitation in poor, affected communities through the construction of standard hand pump wells is a crucial step towards improving public health and overall well-being. These wells offer a sustainable and relatively low-cost solution for providing safe drinking water, especially in rural areas where access to piped water is limited. The construction and maintenance of these wells should be coupled with hygiene education to maximize the health benefits
  3. Provide agricultural support, specifically seed and tool distribution, to war-affected communities in Africa can significantly aid in recovery and rebuilding livelihoods. This support should be integrated with broader recovery efforts and tailored to the specific needs of each community
  4. Provide emergency humanitarian relief assistance for refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Africa is being increasingly distributed through cash-based interventions, where feasible, to enhance recipient choice and promote self-reliance. Simultaneously, in-kind support continues to be provided where necessary. Efforts are also focused on integrating longer-term interventions that promote refugee inclusion and self-reliance, alongside sustainable solutions like voluntary repatriation and local integration.

Organize and support micro credit scheme for women and skilled youth Increasing the accessibility of micro-credit to women in Africa is crucial to support economic growth and empower women as income generators in their communities. This, in turn, leads to job creation. The success of the project was also attributable to the provision of mobile banking facilities which increased the transparency of financial transactions and other banking operations, which is often a concern among users in these communities
